Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process.This position is located at St. Vincent's- Anderson, IN.ResponsibilitiesHow you’ll make an impact in this roleControls, starts, and shuts down primary and auxiliary power plant equipment—including boilers, turbines, generators, pumps, and compressors—using control boards and sequential switches. Monitors meters, gauges, and computer systems at established intervals to regulate power flow, adjust water levels, and detect potential operating problems. Performs preventative maintenance and minor repairs, such as cleaning, lubricating equipment, and tightening leaking joints, to prevent system failure or deterioration. Documents plant operations by maintaining accurate logs, completing forms, writing equipment malfunction reports, and handling emergency outage communication. Leads team operations by assigning daily work to maximize plant efficiency, assisting with shift scheduling, and training team members on equipment monitoring and maintenance. Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on cross-functional teams, participates in informational meetings and workshops, and assists with special projects as assigned.QualificationsWhat minimum requirements you’ll needMust Have One Or More Of The FollowingHigh School Diploma or equivalent Relevant license Graduate of trade school And One Or More Of The Following5 years of relevant experience.
