School-Based Social Worker - Rochester, Michigan

Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time Social Worker position is available within a school-based residential facility in Rochester, MI. This role primarily serves K-12 students, with a focus on middle and high school-aged youth. The facility supports male youth who are victims or offenders of sexual violence, requiring professionals with experience in this sensitive area.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct social work services to male students within the residential facility.Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each students needs.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, counselors, and external agencies.Maintain accurate case documentation and adhere to confidentiality protocols.Conduct assessments and provide crisis intervention as needed.Participate in team meetings and case reviews.Deliver services on-site; virtual services are not applicable for this role.Qualifications and Experience:Current and valid Michigan Social Worker license required (license verification required).Experience working with male youth in residential or school settings, especially involving victims/offenders of sexual violence.Ability to work full-time, 35 hours per week.Strong communication, assessment, and intervention skills.Comfortable working on-site at all times.Supervision can be provided by the district if needed.Location:Rochester, MI, onsite services only.This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a residential educational environment, addressing complex social and emotional needs.
