Goodrich Area Schools8 th Grade Softball CoachQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS• Previous middle school softball coaching experience preferred• Must have the ability to work with other coaches and receive direction from the AthleticDirector• Must be able to relate well to middle school students, parents, school personnel and thegeneral public• Must be knowledgeable of MHSAA rules and regulations• Must strive to boost school spirit and promote good sportsmanshipESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES• Teach techniques and fundamentals of sport.• Be able to demonstrate all skills necessary for the sport.• Be knowledgeable about the rules and regulations of the sport.• Assume the responsibility for constant care of equipment and facilities being used.• Conduct structured practices that follow the guidelines of the Athletic Department.• Be an example of good character and sportsmanship to the team at all times.• Assist the Athletic Director as needed.REPORTS TO: Athletic DirectorCOMPENSATION: According to the GEA Master Agreement/Schedule B Non-staff coaches arehired through GECSTO APPLY: Visit www.goodrichschools.org and click on Join Our Team banner.
