EPIC Engineer

BCforward is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Epic Application Engineer to join our dynamic team.Position: Inpatient HIM OpTime Epic Application Engineer Specialist Work Type: REMOTE - PSTDuration: 6 months (Possible Extension). Tentative Start Date: 9/14/2026Responsibilities :Strong understanding of Inpatient workflows, clinical operations, and IT strategyExperience contributing to EHR implementation plans (scope and timelines)Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalismAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups of client, team members, managers, and vendors.Epic resource will be responsible to implement, build, maintain and optimize Epic integration systems.They have knowledge of the Epic EMR software, operations and workflow, and work closely with the project team's clinical leaders to translate business needs into EMR functionality.Resource is expected to have Epic knowledge and should have prior experience in working with various interfaces and related integrationsResource is expected to be able to work with clinics to identify gaps, provides mutually agreeable solutions to close workflow gaps.Involves design, building, testing, and implementation of Epic integration application systems.Works with clinicians to create or adapt written protocols.Resource should able to troubleshoot the issues and provide solutions to the prevailing issuesExperience: 5 YearsEducation: Epic CertificationMust-have” skills for this role:1.
