JOB SummaryVerifying employee timesheets to confirm hours worked and ensure accuracyCalculating wages, overtime and bonusesProcessing biweekly payroll using UltiPro (Ultimate) softwareEntering data related to all employee information, benefits deductions, tax withholdings and direct deposit preferencesMaintaining organized records of payroll transactions and employee compensation and deductionsInvestigating and resolving payroll discrepancies or employee inquiriesEnsuring compliance with wage and hour laws and company policiesProcessing wage garnishments, levies and other court-ordered deductionsCorrelating information needed for distribution of W2's at the end of the yearVarious Accounting duties as neededJOB RequirementsHigh school graduate or equivalent, two years college preferredAt least three years of prior work experience in payroll processing· Intermediate proficiency in MS Work, Excel, Accounting/Payroll systems· Ten key proficiency a must· Support payroll-related journal entries and expense reclassificationsMust have organization skills and attention to detail ability
