Structural Engineer

Seeking licensed structural engineer to perform on site engineering evaluations of residential and commercial structures. Must possess effective communication skills as well as the ability to interact with both residential and commercial clients. Assignments are typically 3 to 6 hours including travel, time onsite and time to prepare the report. Appointments are scheduled based on your availability. You are paid for travel time and mileage at the Federal Rate per mile. Professional Engineering license required with experience in structural design or construction along with the ability to make site visits for visual observations. This is on an as needed basis depending on the assignments received. Paid under 1099 and work is under your direction and control. You sign and seal reports. We want to hear directly from the applicant and will not work with any third parties. Insurance and/or litigation experience a plus. Compensation is based on experience and salary history.
