Mississippi Licensed Family Physician Direct Hire-1099 2-5 hrs per week doing chart reviews for Nurse Practitioners for a large managed care company (8-20 hours per month total) $175.00 an hour Company provided malpractice insurance Must be licensed and located in MS DIRECT PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITY - THE PHYSICIAN WILL BE DIRECTLY CONTRACTED WITH MOLINA AS A 1099. We are seeking Family Medicine Supervising/Collaborating Physicians to conduct monthly Quality Chart Reviews. No prior experience required. Position Details Required Licensure: Active Physician license (specializing in Family Medicine) Location: Remote Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor Assignment Duration: 12 months (renewable annually) Hourly Rate: $175.00 per hour for a maximum of 2 hours per assigned NP, per month. Job Responsibilities Conduct monthly Quality Chart Reviews for 10% of each assigned Nurse Practitioner’s total monthly visits Serve as a Supervising/Collaborating Physician in accordance with applicable laws and the Nurse Practitioner’s Collaborative Practice Protocol Agreement. Liability insurance provided to Supervising/Collaborating Physicians for claims arising solely and exclusively from professional services related to supervision and collaboration with Nurse Practitioners. FM specialty training, Able to use Epic EMR to complete assigned NP chart reviews.
