Sr. Payroll Specialist

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $70,000 to $95,000 per year. Job Responsibilities:Manage and process high-volume weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for salaried and hourly employees, including union and non-union labor. Administer certified payroll, prevailing wage, and reporting using Vista. Perform accurate job costing allocations, prevailing wage calculations, fringe benefits tracking, and GL reconciliation. Collaborate with HR, accounting, and project managers to ensure timely and compliant payroll operations. Respond to employee payroll inquiries and provide training or mentorship to junior team members as needed. Requirements:Demonstrate strong working knowledge of Vista by Viewpoint payroll software. Possess in-depth experience with certified payroll, job costing, and union payroll processes. Show proficiency in federal and state wage laws, labor compliance, and benefits administration. Maintain high attention to detail and ensure data accuracy in all payroll functions. Meet tight deadlines consistently while managing multiple payroll tasks. Qualifications:5+ years of payroll experience, including 2 + years in a senior or lead role within the construction industry. Understand complex payroll structures involving union and non-union labor. Apply knowledge of prevailing wage regulations and certified payroll reporting. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve payroll issues. Support continuous improvement by identifying and implementing payroll process enhancements. REF#50694#LI-DD1
