RequirementsConduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing follow-up visits. Provide patient-centered care that is trauma-informed, empathetic, and culturally competent. Develop, prescribe, and adjust individualized treatment plans and medication regimens. Communicate with families, caregivers, and facility staff to ensure a shared understanding of patient care goals. Complete detailed, compliant clinical documentation within required timeframes. QualificationsCurrent PMHNP certification and unrestricted state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner. Excellent diagnostic, assessment, and communication skills. Experience in geriatric psychiatry or long-term care is preferred but not mandatory. Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage a flexible caseload.
