DevOps Technical Lead ( AWS and Claude/Codex experience)

This role is primarily an individual contributor (~70% hands-on) with growing leadership responsibilities (~30%), reporting to an existing DevOps Manager. You will enable engineering teams across QTS OS and SDP platforms, improving developer productivity and building scalable, secure, cloud-native infrastructure.*Hands-On Engineering (~70%) ** Design and operate AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.* Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.* Build developer platforms and self-service tooling.* Manage deployments across environments Troubleshoot distributed systems.* Improve monitoring and observability Optimize cost, performance, reliability.* Partner with development teams.*Security & Platform Architecture.** Support Entra ID and IAM integration.* Design secure token/JWT-based systems.* Contribute to zero-trust architecture.* Ensure compliance and security standards.*Technical Leadership (~30%)** Lead by example with hands-on contributions.* Mentor engineers* Drive DevOps best practices.* Influence platform roadmap* Support development teams*AI-Enabled Engineering** Use AI tools such as Claude Code and OpenAI Codex.* Apply AI for automation, debugging, and code generation.* Drive AI adoption across teams. xevrcyc*Required Qualifications ** U.S. Citizenship required* 5+ years DevOps experience Strong AWS, Terraform, CI/CD experience* Strong scripting/programming* Experience supporting development teams* Microservices experience*Preferred Qualifications** AWS Certification* Container platforms (ECS/Kubernetes)* Platform engineering experience* Distributed teams experience*Operational Expectations** Participate in on-call rotation* Support production releases*Role Growth Path Senior IC ?
