We design, develop, and deliver high-quality enterprise systems, as well as systems integrations and work in a project-based consulting environment.CapTech Consultants enjoy a collaborative environment and have many opportunities to learn from and share knowledge with other developers, architects, and our clients. Our solutions include API-driven clients, microservice architectures, event-driven integrations, cloud deployments, serverless applications, and web and portal front ends.Specific responsibilities for the Mulesoft Architect position include:Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver a technical solution that meet the unique needs of our clients. Partner with clients on cross‑functional, team‑based projects to deliver scalable Mulesoft solutions across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile methodologiesServe as a trusted technical advisor, managing architectural scope while aligning technical solutions with business goalsCommunicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, setting clear expectations and guiding decision‑makingCreate quality deliverables to communicate technical solutions to appropriate audiences. Leverage CapTech’s internal programs and self-directed training to continually develop industry relevant knowledge and skills. Communicate effectively to team members with varying degrees of technical knowledge. Demonstrate technical thought leadership by contributing to architectural standards, best practices, and reusable acceleratorsMentor architects and developers through architecture reviews, communities of practice, and ongoing knowledge sharingParticipate in technical pre‑sales activities, including solution design, estimations, and delivery scoping for prospective clientsGain exposure to a variety of clients, business models, and industry verticalsQualificationsSpecific qualifications for the Mulesoft Architect position include:Experience with MuleSoft 4.x at a high architectural levelProject experience with MuleSoft Integrations10+ years software development experienceExtensive knowledge of Integration patternsExperience creating Mule applications in Anypoint StudioAbility to design APIs and publish to Anypoint ExchangeFamiliarity with designing APIs in RAMLApplied knowledge of API Development using REST and/or SOAPExperience integrating Enterprise applications such as Salesforce, SAP, Workday, Oracle ERPFamiliarity with microservice architectures, design patterns, and monitoring toolsExperience with cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, and/or GCP a plusExperience with relational database technologies, both traditional and current (NoSQL)Experience with the CI/CD pipelineExperience working with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Mistral, etc.) in production settingExperience with prompt engineering, MCP and RAG, and agentic AI architecturesStrong understanding of conversational UX and prompt evaluation metricsExperience with agentic frameworks in practice (langchain, n8n, pydantic, etc)Experience with vibe coding and multi-agentsDemonstrated experience in enterprise security practicesAdditional InformationWe want everyone at CapTech to be able to envision a lasting and rewarding career here, which is why we offer a variety of career paths based on your skills and passions.
