Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

$20,000 sign-on bonus! A prestigious healthcare system in Maine is searching for ICU Registered Nurses for one of its hospitals in Lewiston. In this role, you will be an essential member of the patient care team and responsible for the delivery of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. You will assess, plan, treat, and evaluate nursing care for patients and work collaboratively with other healthcare team members. Responsibilities: Provide direct care in an 11-bed Intensive Care Unit. Perform comprehensive and timely patient assessments and reassessments. Formulate individualized care plans with interdisciplinary team members. Perform timely evaluations and recognize changes in patient conditions. Administer medications as instructed, monitor reactions, and document progress to desired results. Maintain and review patient records and charts, including tests and examination results. Qualifications: An ADN is required, and a BSN is preferred. Active RN license. 1+ years of critical care experience.
