Senior Biologist

Job Title: Biologist (ARA) - IIJob Location : South San Francisco, CAJob Duration: 12 MonthsShift: Work shift : Monday-Friday(8a-5p PST). Occasional weekends.Pay:$37-39/hr. We are seeking a highly motivated In Vivo Research Associate with hands-on experience in small laboratory animal handling and in vivo study support. The ideal candidate will support preclinical research activities including dosing, bleeding, tissue collection, compound administration, and clinical observations in rodent models.Qualifications:Associate Degree with 3+ years, Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years, or Master’s Degree with 1+ year of relevant in vivo experience in Biology, Pharmacology, Animal Sciences, Molecular/Cellular Biology, or related scientific field.Prior industry experience in in vivo research preferred.Experience with small animal handling, dosing, bleeding, tissue collection, and animal care.Experience in PK, oncology, cardio-metabolic disease, or biologics is preferred.Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced research environment with minimal supervision.Flexibility to support occasional weekend work when required.No PhD candidates.Responsibilities:Perform in vivo study activities including animal handling, dosing (especially IV administration), sampling, tissue collection, and clinical observations.Support study execution, animal ordering, equipment monitoring, and perioperative care.Assist with weekend husbandry oversight, room checks, and emergency support as needed.Analyze experimental data and collaborate with cross-functional research teams.Maintain accurate documentation and support discovery pipeline activities.Schedule:Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST with occasional weekend coverage as needed.
