Play Hard Care Deeply Grow Together Strive for Excellence Create Awesome Experiences Job Highlights Job Title: Staff Coach Reports To: Club Director Location: Columbus, OH Position Type: 1099 Independent Contractor Hours Required: Seasonal, evenings and weekends required About the Role We are seeking a Staff Coach to lead individual player development and team development within the club. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions, supporting player growth, and creating a positive learning environment aligned with the Classics Eagles SC Game Model and Player Development Philosophy. The ideal candidate is passionate about youth development, committed to continuous learning, and dedicated to helping players reach their full potential both on and off the field. Your Game Plan Team Coaching & Training Delivery (60%) Serve as lead coach for assigned teams and seasonal programsPlan and execute training sessions aligned with the club's playing philosophyOversee all aspects of assigned team activities and match preparationCreate a positive, challenging, and development-focused training environment Player Development & Evaluation (25%) Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback that supports developmentAssist in player identification, recruitment, and selection processesSupport individual player growth through ongoing feedback and development planningFoster confidence, motivation, and a lifelong passion for the game Club Leadership & Professional Standards (15%) Build positive relationships with players, families, coaches, and club leadershipUphold club policies and all player safeguarding requirementsDemonstrate professionalism, integrity, and accountability in all interactionsPursue ongoing coaching education and professional developmentSupport club initiatives and perform other duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience Experience coaching youth soccer players, preferably ages 7-15Strong understanding of player development principles and coaching methodologyExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to build positive relationships with players, families, and staffHigh level of professionalism, integrity, and accountabilityAdditional expertise in Goalkeeping, Sports Performance, Sports Medicine, Child Development, or Psychology preferredAvailability to work evenings and weekends TOCA Football, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age,
