We are a family-oriented company, offering work/life balance and job security with a growing and stable organization.SUMMARY: We are seeking an Accounts Payable Data Entry Clerk to join our growing team at our Athens, GA headquarters. This position offers the ability to perform some work remotely, with a hybrid work schedule. This is an ideal position for an entry level candidate with excellent customer relations and communication skills. Growth opportunities available.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Receive vendor invoices, match with the corresponding purchase orders and packing slips, and enter them in a timely mannerEnter subcontract pay apps, verifying all required documentation is receivedReconcile vendor statements, credit cards statements, and other accountsRespond to inquiries from vendorsEnsure sales or use tax is properly coded on all invoicesEnter miscellaneous payments for accounting staffOther similar duties as directedSKILLS REQUIRED:Excellent communication skillsFamiliar with accounting conceptsGood math skillsGreat attention to detailSolves problems effectivelyWell organizedOrganized, motivated, and ability to work under deadlinesExcellent oral and written skills and professional judgmentHigh school diploma or equivalent; some accounting courses preferredAbility to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively with a teamMust be proficient in Microsoft Word & ExcelREWARDS:Competitive salary packagesHealthcare benefits (eligible after 90 days)PTO (1 week PTO after 1 year service) and company paid holidays401k with company match (up to 5%)Annual bonus program based on individual and company performanceOpportunity to work in a hybrid work environmentThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
