Were committed to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement, and we know it all starts with investing in our people.Job Summary:The Production Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating production control, shipping, and receiving activities to ensure the efficient flow of materials, parts, and finished goods. This role supervises team members, manages production schedules, supports inventory accuracy, and drives continuous improvement while ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to company standards.This is a first shift position located at our Tell City, IN facility, with a schedule of MondayFriday and occasional weekends.Key Responsibilities:Evaluate data (job orders, specifications, inventory levels, and production rates) to plan and schedule workflow, materials, and resourcesSupervise daily activities of shipping, receiving, and production control team members (approximately 20 employees)Lead start-up meetings and ensure effective communication between shifts, including EOS reportingManage daily and weekly schedules to meet customer demands and production targetsCoordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve production, inventory, and shipping issuesEnsure trucks are loaded accurately and on time, verifying counts, packaging, and shipment requirementsOversee warehouse operations, including FIFO practices and inventory controlMonitor and maintain accurate inventory and packaging countsAssign work, observe performance, and provide coaching, feedback, and corrective action as neededMaintain documentation, prepare reports, and communicate performance metrics using systems such as Excel and PowerPointSpend significant time (approximately 50%) on administrative tasks including reporting, planning, and data analysisSupport continuous improvement initiatives, including Toyota Production System (TPS) practices such as Kanban and JITMaintain a safe work environment and ensure adherence to company policies and proceduresQualifications:Required:Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, or production environmentStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas) and working knowledge of Microsoft Office toolsExperience managing schedules, workflows, and team performanceKnowledge of shipping/receiving processes and inventory controlAbility to communicate effectively across all levels of the organizationSelf-motivated with strong initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to work extended hours and weekends as neededPreferred:Experience with MRP systems and JIT shipping environmentsFamiliarity with Toyota Production System (TPS), including Kanban and continuous improvement conceptsForklift experience or certificationAssociates degree or equivalent combination of education and experiencePhysical Requirements:Able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and chest-high when requiredAble to walk, stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shiftWhy Youll Love Working HereCompetitive pay plus overtime eligibilityAffordable insurance options (medical, dental, vision, HSA)401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysTuition reimbursementCompany-paid disability coverageReferral and recognition programsWellness and appreciation eventsPay increases every 6 months and for skill level improvementsJoin ATTC where teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement drive our success.Apply today!Compensation details: 58900-62600 Yearly SalaryPIdf7d3acf20d5-26289-40222582
