Job Description Position: ControllerLocation: SeattleSchedule: Monday through Friday, business hoursPay: $100,000-$125,000***This is a full-time position directly with our client.***Express Employment Professionals – North Seattle is seeking a Controller to lead day-to-day finance and accounting functions, ensure accurate and timely reporting, manage compliance obligations, and provide strategic financial insight to ownership and leadership. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who values accuracy, and collaboration.ResponsibilitiesOwn the full accounting function — GL, AP/AR, payroll, and close — while maintaining strong internal controls and clean, audit-ready financialsDrive financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, with the analytical chops to translate numbers into actionable recommendations for leadershipManage banking, cash flow, and treasury, and coordinate all tax compliance, audits, and external CPA relationshipsServe as a strategic finance partner to ownership and department heads, with a hand in process improvement, systems, and operational decisionsQualifications5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including leadership responsibilityBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent experienceSelf-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently while collaborating across teamsBenefit Offerings (Eligibility Varies)Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage401KPaid time offEqual Opportunity & InclusionExpress Employment Professionals – North Seattle, WA is an equal opportunity employer.
