If you're looking to apply your academic knowledge to real-world infrastructure while working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive environment, we'd love to meet you.About the RoleAs a Water/Wastewater Treatment Intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers to support the planning, design, and evaluation of water and wastewater treatment facilities. You will contribute to technical analyses, reports, and design efforts while gaining exposure to treatment processes, facility operations, and multidisciplinary project delivery.What You'll DoSupporting the planning and design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including new facilities, expansions, and rehabilitation projectsAssisting with treatment process evaluations, calculations, and system sizingPreparing technical memoranda, engineering reports, feasibility studies, and planning documentsAssisting with development of plans, specifications, and cost estimatesCollaborating with civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical team membersSupporting high-quality, client-focused project deliveryWhat You'll NeedCurrently pursuing a Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a closely related engineering disciplineCompletion of an undergraduate engineering degreeStrong interest in water and/or wastewater treatment engineeringProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsCoursework or research experience related to water or wastewater treatment processesFamiliarity with engineering calculations, technical writing, or data analysisFamiliarity with treatment process modeling or design softwareSelf-motivated with a strong attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentPhysical demands of the employee include frequent sitting, moving, standing, talking, hearing, and occasional balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling.
