Join a dynamic, growing team that offers healthcare providers an array of medical technology solutions that make a difference in patients' lives.Position SummaryThe Clinical Education Manager working in concert with field Medical Sales Representatives uses clinical knowledge to develop customer relationships through education and in-servicing with the goal of business development.The Critical Care Clinical Education Manager provides clinical and customer support of Teleflex Critical Care Products to sustain and acquire business within a given territory or region while maintaining and developing customer loyalty through clinical and educational customer needs assessment, product and procedural training, in-servicing, and required customer follow up (i.e., letters, approved product information, samples, educational materials, and clinical research articles).Principal ResponsibilitiesMaintain and develop expertise on Teleflex's critical care products, with particular emphasis on the Vascular Access devices (i.e., CVC, PICC, Midline, EZ-IO, Chlorag+ard and Arrowg+rd technologies)Keep current with medical literature, clinical initiatives/guidelines, competitive landscape, and industry trends and communicate with the appropriate sales and corporate departmentsIdentify and expand customer base through networking and following upWork in conjunction with sales representatives, sales management, and clinical leadership to properly identify, prioritize targets, and achieve corporate, regional, and territory goals and objectivesManage all territory associated administrative tasks and responsibilities (i.e., territory expenses, materials, etc.)Participate in educational, scientific, and promotional activities at all identified local, regional, and national exhibitions (this may also include training and presentations)Contribute to the training of new field personnel and company personnel on vascular access products and related initiativesMaintain professional and clinical continuing education, licensure, and credentials. (when applicable)Provide written and verbal communication to sales management, sales representatives, and clinical leadership regarding field activity and account informationAdhere to and ensure the compliance of Teleflex's Code of Conduct, all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standardsTravel domestically (50-60%)Education / Experience RequirementsRegistered Nurse; (with appropriate vascular access and critical care experience)3 years Nursing/patient care experience within critical care and/or vascular access specialty (i.e., Vascular Access Team, Critical Care, ED, Interventional Radiology, etc.)Proficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsPossess a valid driver's license and operate a motor vehicle with satisfactory driving recordsCarry detail bag weighing up to 20 lbsLift equipment weighing up to 30 lbsAble to stand or walk in numerous hospitals or at meetings for 6 – 10 hours per day, up to five (5) days per weekSpecialized Skills / Other RequirementsAdvanced Certification in Vascular Access and/or Critical Care (i.e., CRNI, VA-BC, CCRN, CEN, etc.)Medical Device experienceClinical Education experienceProfessional Affiliations and Associations such as APIC, INS, AVA, ENA, AACNTRAVEL REQUIRED: Travel domestically (50-60%)Teleflex, Inc. is an affirmative action & equal opportunity employer.
