Join our dynamic team and contribute to our growth and success.Position SummaryThe Director of Supply Chain Operations is responsible for end-to-end ownership of Viome’s supply chain across Diagnostics and Consumer product lines. This role ensures the company has the right product, at the right time, at the right cost, while delivering a reliable and scalable customer experience.This is a hands-on leadership role focused on building structure, driving operational discipline, and scaling supply chain capabilities in a high-growth environment. This role owns demand and supply planning, contract manufacturing, procurement, inventory, and fulfillment, ensuring products are delivered on time, at the right cost, and in compliance with FDA and GMP requirements.This role operates within a regulated environment and is responsible for ensuring supply chain execution aligns with FDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP/cGMP), and internal quality systems.Responsibilities:Planning & Systems Own demand planning, supply planning, and inventory strategyImplement and manage Solvoyo or similar systems for forecasting and inventory managementBuild and run a scalable Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processUse system reporting and data to drive decisions on inventory, supply, and riskContract Manufacturing & Vendor ManagementLead relationships with contract manufacturers (CMOs) for supplements, ingestibles, and kitsOwn vendor selection, performance management, and pricing/contract negotiationsEnsure suppliers meet cost, quality, and delivery expectationsDrive cost savings and margin improvement through vendor strategyRegulatory & Compliance (FDA / GMP / cGMP)Ensure supply chain operations comply with FDA regulations and GMP/cGMP standardsPartner with Quality to support supplier qualification, audits, and compliance processesOversee operational elements of CoAs, batch release, and product traceabilityMaintain audit readiness across suppliers, manufacturing, and distributionInventory, Logistics & FulfillmentOversee inventory across raw materials and finished goodsLead logistics, shipping, and fulfillment operations (including 3PLs)Ensure high service levels while optimizing inventory and working capitalTeam LeadershipLead and develop the internal supply chain team (Supply Chain Manager and Buyer)Establish clear roles, accountability, and performance expectationsBalance hands-on execution with building scalable processesSuccess MetricsIn-stock rate and service levelsInventory turns and working capital efficiencyForecast accuracyVendor performance (cost, quality, delivery)Gross margin improvementCompliance and audit readinessQualifications10+ years of supply chain leadership experienceExperience managing contract manufacturers (CMOs)Strong background in vendor negotiation and cost optimizationExperience in FDA-regulated and GMP/cGMP environments (supplements, ingestibles, biotech, or similar)Experience with supply chain systems (Solvoyo, ERP, or similar) and data-driven planningStrong understanding of demand planning, inventory management, and logisticsProven ability to lead teams and scale operationsWhy Join Viome:Be part of a pioneering company at the forefront of biotech innovation.Collaborate with a talented and passionate team dedicated to improving human health.Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Viome is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
