QE Automation Lead

We are currently hiring for a QE Automation Lead role focused on building and leading shared quality engineering and automation practices across multiple enterprise systems.Details: Strong Retail, Java automation required with Selenium- Duration: 12-month Contract-to-Hire- Conversion: This role will convert to a full-time employee (FTE) role after 12 months- Location Preference:1st preference: Onsite in Sacramento, CA2nd preference: Onsite in SF Bay AreaCandidates will be reviewed in that order- Note: Candidates from other parts of the country are acceptable if they are willing to permanently relocate, as this is intended to become an FTE role after 12 months- Rate: DOE - competitive rates; please provide best ratesKey Responsibilities:- Define automation strategy across API, integration, workflow, and regression testing- Build release-certification standards and production-quality feedback loops- Lead automation for pricing, payments, and integration-heavy environments- Mentor engineering and QA teams on reusable automation and quality standardsRequirements:- 8+ years in QA engineering or software test automation- Strong experience with API validation, CI/CD integration, SQL validation, and service orchestration- Experience leading shared QE functions and automation initiatives in JAVA environment- Strong java coding from an automation perspective- Must have at least 3 years in a Lead or Engineering Management role- Retail experiencePlease send qualified resumes along with:- Current location- Work authorization status- Availability
