Construction Administrator

Job DescriptionAre you an experienced construction administrator with a keen eye for details? My client is looking for a Construction Administrator to help them manage their construction office byassisting with projects from start to finish. Our ideal Construction Administrator has 3 years of construction administration support experience and a firm grasp of construction industry best practices.Construction Administrator Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent is required - some college highly preferred3 years of experience in construction services, administrative support, contract administration, or construction project management is crucialUnderstanding of the construction industry and processes are beneficial- including codes, AIA documentation, and safety regulationsBasic accounting, bookkeeping, and math skills are desiredProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and project or construction management softwareExcellent organization, time management, attention to detail, and communication skills are valuableConstruction Administrator Responsibilities:Assist construction project managers to estimate and adhere to proper budgets, create project schedules, and communicate project updatesExperience in pulling permitsDirect subcontractor, vendor, and supplier process by assembling bid packages including scope of work, bidding process, and needed construction documentsOversee construction contract administration and submittal log processesEnforce quality control process measures that ensure compliance with contracts, building, and code regulationsPerform cash management, payroll, and billing tasksAssemble the closeout package including maintenance agreements, equipment information, warranties, and contractor contact informationIf you are interested in this position apply online or submit your resume and project list to sierra.massicot@gogpac.com
