From creating the home standby generator market category, to our current evolution into an energy technology solutions company, we continue to push new boundaries.The Order Fulfillment Specialist I is directly responsible for optimizing our fulfillment and customer delivery process on a daily basis. With a keen focus on the Customer Experience, this role schedules outbound shipments, manages internal and external routing activity and completes the shipping process.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Leads the initiation of the scheduling and routing processes for all outbound shipments, working cross functionally with transportation counterparts, as well as customer contact points.Utilize systems to monitor expected outbound shipments, expediting fulfillment where opportunities exist, managing customer expectations when issues are presented.Ensures scheduled and routed shipments are completed on time to customer expectations, quickly escalating process challenges when appropriate.Assists with the initiation of the shipping process across distribution facilities daily.Minimum Qualifications:Associates Degree or equivalent experience1 year of relevant distribution or fulfillment experience with leading technologiesPreferred Qualifications:In depth knowledge of end to end OTC business processes including areas such as Order Management, Order Fulfillment, Invoice Management and Inventory Segmentation and ManagementExtensive experience using Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPointKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Strong attention to detail, outstanding analytical skills, and exceptional communication/interpersonal skillsDesire to seek out improvement opportunities from both a process and system standpointAbility to drive results in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment, can comfortably handle risk and uncertaintyStrong cross-functional collaborator, team player, highly motivated with an upbeat personality and a positive attitudeExcellent decision-making skills with a customer focusHas a global mindset and can communicate effectively across a global organization · Builds constructive and effective relationships across all levels of the organizationTo formally apply to this position click here: https://generac.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/External/details/Order-Fulfillment-Specialist---2nd-Shift--Mon-Fri-2pm-10pm--_JR8494?q=order%20fulfillment%20specialist.
