Position SummaryAbout the Role:We are seeking a proactive, knowledgeable, and highly mobile Field Safety Manager to join our team. This role involves full-time travel to active construction and installation sites where complex material handling equipment is being installed. You will be the front line of our safety operations—ensuring that all job sites maintain the highest level of compliance, worker protection, and incident prevention.As the Field Safety Manager, you will work directly with subcontractors, internal teams, and our customers to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and uphold a strong culture of safety on every project site.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary on-site safety representative for assigned job sites across North AmericaConduct site safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to proactively identify and address hazardsCollaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and client representatives to promote and enforce safety protocolsEnsure compliance with all local, state/provincial, and federal safety regulationsLead incident investigations and root cause analyses when necessaryDeliver safety orientation, toolbox talks, and ongoing training to jobsite personnelMaintain accurate and up-to-date safety documentation and reporting for each assigned projectRecommend and implement site-specific safety solutions and continuous improvement initiativesSupport the company’s overall Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) objectives and performance goalsMinimum Qualifications:Candidate must meet one of the following criteria:Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health & Safety (or related field)Plus 3 years of full-time construction safety management experienceORBoard-Certified Safety Credential from a nationally recognized organization:U.S.: CSP, CIH, ASP, CHSTCanada: CRSP, CCOHSPlus 5 years of full-time construction safety management experienceOROSHA 500 Certification (U.S.) or Canadian equivalentPlus 6 years of full-time construction safety management experiencePreferred Qualifications:Strong working knowledge of OSHA and other applicable standardsExperience working in environments involving material handling, heavy equipment, or industrial installationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in various locations simultaneouslyStrong problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal skillsPrevious experience with subcontractor management and customer communication is a plusBilingual (English/Spanish) is an assetTravel Requirements:Near 100% Travel required; must be comfortable being on the road full timeMust have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel domestically (and potentially internationally) for extended periodsLodging and travel expenses covered in accordance with company policyCompensation & Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience and certificationsComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement plansPaid time off and company holidaysCompany-provided travel accommodations Opportunities for advancement in a growing safety organization
