You play a critical role in shaping the client experience while supporting daily hospital operations, appointment flow, and communication between the medical team and pet owners.Department: ReceptionistsEmployment Type: Part TimeLocation: Doral, FloridaWorkplace type: OnsiteCompensation: $18.00 - $22.00 / hourKey Responsibilities:Greet clients and patients warmly in a professional, compassionate mannerAnswer phones, schedule appointments, and manage client communicationsMaintain accurate electronic medical records using veterinary softwareClearly explain services, treatment plans, and billing informationProvide empathetic support to clients during routine and urgent visitsManage check-in/check-out, invoicing, and payment processingAssist with preparing and processing prescriptions under DVM supervisionAccurately label, fill, and dispense medications following safety protocolsMaintain proper documentation, inventory, and storage of medicationsCommunicate medication instructions as directed by the veterinarianSupport compliance with veterinary pharmacy standards and regulationsWhat We're Looking For:Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, or medical office settingPrevious experience as a veterinary receptionist, CSR, or medical front desk associate preferredStrong communication and customer service skillsCompassionate, calm, and professional demeanorAbility to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environmentBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredWeekend and holiday availability requiredNote: This is not an entry-level role.
