This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring that legal strategy, risk management, and governance effectively support business growth in a dynamic and highly regulated environment.The position requires a leader who combines strong legal expertise with commercial acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to operate as a trusted adviser to senior management.The role reports to the CEO.Your Impact:Act as the principal legal adviser to the Indonesian business, supporting strategic and operational decision-makingLead and develop the local legal function, ensuring high standards of delivery, accountability, and business alignmentEnable business growth by providing pragmatic, solution-oriented legal guidanceStrengthen governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks in line with Group standardsEnsure legal risks are clearly understood, appropriately managed, and proportionate to business objectivesKey Responsibilities:Lead all legal matters of the Indonesian business across commercial, corporate, employment, compliance, and dispute-related areasProvide clear, concise, and commercially sound advice to senior leadership and stakeholdersOversee drafting, negotiation, and execution of key commercial agreementsEnsure effective corporate governance and legal compliance at entity levelIdentify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risksMonitor and interpret local regulatory developments and translate them into actionable business guidanceLead, coach, and develop the local legal team, building a high-performing and engaged functionCollaborate closely with Group Legal on strategic, high-risk, or complex mattersManage external counsel efficiently, ensuring quality and cost-effectivenessDrive improvements in legal processes, reporting, and overall legal operationsWhat We Are Looking For:Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent) from a recognized universityQualified to practice law in Indonesia or eligibility to obtain such qualificationStrong experience in Indonesian law (in-house and/or private practice)Proven track record in commercial and corporate legal advisory, including contract negotiation and risk managementExperience working with senior leadership in a fast-paced, international environmentDemonstrated ability to lead and develop teamsStrong communication skills in EnglishHigh level of integrity, ownership, and professional judgmentWhat You Bring:Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives and make sound, pragmatic decisionsConfidence to challenge constructively and influence senior stakeholdersStrong leadership presence and credibilityStructured, disciplined, and solution-oriented approachAbility to operate effectively in a matrix and international environmentWhy Join FL Technics:This is a key leadership role within a fast-growing MRO business in Indonesia, with operations in Jakarta and Bali.
