We believe in a workplace where everyone can be their authentic self, which enables them to do their best work.We are seeking candidates eager to make a difference in a fast growing, dynamic real estate platform.The Acquisitions Analyst is responsible for supporting the Investment Team of Reliant with a myriad of analytical duties related to underwriting and analyzing potential investment opportunities. This includes market tracking, comparative lease and sale analysis, financial modeling of investments in Excel and working closely with senior management on daily tasks. Additionally, Acquisition Analyst may work closely with the Asset Management team on various reporting and operational tasks including lease reviews for acquired assets and portfolios. This position is an in-office role, based out of our office in Overland Park, KS.ResponsibilitiesPerform market analyses through Costar regarding replacement cost, demographics and sale and lease comparablesSpeak with brokers, bankers and consultants that specialize in specific markets and sectors to understand market dynamicsFinancial modeling of assets and cash flowsAnalyze leases to determine the impact specific lease terms might have on potential cash flows (i.e. renewal options, termination options, lease type, and landlord responsibilities)Tour properties with members of the investments team to determine if there are any concerns that need to be considered within our underwritingPrepare materials such as initial deal overviews, corporate presentations and Investment Committee decksOrganize diligence materials including tenant information, environmental reports, structural reports, service contracts, title information, etc.Update our investment pipeline with key asset and investment informationAssist with dispositions with regards to property information, tenant information, disposition diligence, and disposition trackingOrganize the Non-Disclosure Agreement discussions between our legal counsel and the Seller's counsel in order to receive confidential information with respect to underwriting dealsResearch and analyze tenant financials, credit, and industry trends to determine long-term overall strength of tenancyManage DD tracking list during acquisitions by serving as liaison between internal DD / operations team and SellerQualifications0-3 years' experienceBA or BS in Finance, Real Estate Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or related disciplines preferred from a top-tier university. Other majors will be consideredStrong academic recordProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPointUnderstanding of basic financial concepts used to evaluate investments and build models, such as simple cash flow analyses, time value of money, return on investment, etc.Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilityExcellent oral and written communication skillsSelf-motivation, determination and initiative in a team environmentDemonstrated high attention to detailEEO StatementReliant is an equal opportunity employer.
