Whether you work in our state-of-the-art Casino, our beautiful Resort, or become a staff member in our Tribal Government division, you will be part of the Sycuan family.Join our team as a Count Team Member, where you'll accurately count, reconcile, and safeguard gaming revenue and kiosk funds, while also working hands on with cash, chips, and tickets to ensure every dollar is accounted for.Job Purpose:Accounts for and reconciles gaming revenue and prepares accounts for Kiosk funds.Job Duties and Responsibilities:(Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time).Accounts for gaming revenue and early audits by processing and counting currency througha counter/sorter, docking slot machine canisters, recording individual bill canister totals into the computer system, scanning ticket vouchers redeemed in bill acceptors, recording revenue from Table Games on inventory cards, completing Master Games Stiff Sheets, generating currency and ticket voucher reports, and forwarding to the Accounting Department.Reconciles revenue by strapping gaming and non-gaming currency separately, racking and stacking casino chips and coins, balancing slot machine tickets and kiosk vouchers separately, completing all necessary paperwork, entering all pertinent information into the computer system, and transporting all funds to the Vault.Verifies Slot and Table Games Drop boxes by removing them from applicable the drop carts, verifying they are empty, and placing all canisters/boxes back in the proper areas of the carts.Job Specifications:Education and Experience:Essential:High School Diploma or G.E.D.Desirable:Bank vault experienceCasino experience1-year cash handling experienceSkills and Knowledge:Essential:Ability to perform simple mathematical calculationsAbility to count quickly and accuratelyAbility to lift, carry, and push up to 40 lbs.Ability to appear for work on timeAbility to work flexible hoursAbility to interact effectively with team membersAbility to communicate effectively in the English languageAbility to maintain professionalism and composureAbility to complete forms and documentsAbility to repeatedly walk, stand, bend, stoop and push for extended periods of timeAbility to stand for up to ten hours at a timeAbility to understand and follow verbal directives and written directionsAbility to accept constructive criticismDetail-orientation10-key skillsWorking knowledge of MS Word and ExcelDesirable:Organizational skillsComputer skills (minimal)Supervisory/Managerial Accountability:Direct: NoneIndirect: NoneIf you enjoy being part of a community dedicated to creating a memorable guest experience, we invite you to explore career opportunities with Sycuan and join our winning team!Job DetailsPay Type Hourly
