Controller
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records and account personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across the North American companies.Provide leadership with vital business intelligence by consolidating and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual performance, revealing insights, and highlighting trends and improvement areas.Work closely with Senior Accountants to ensure accurate closings, reporting, and reconciliations.Ensure alignment with US GAAP for statutory reporting and apply IFRS understanding for internal group performance reporting.Promote internal control consistency and process efficiency across the U.S. entities.Change management initiatives following the acquisition of three companies, integrating each into the parent organization.Build financial and operational processes and systems, establishing internal controls and scalable infrastructure to support current operations and future acquisitions.This will be hands-on role in building and leveraging ERP and data environments, including INFOR M3, with heavy use of Excel to develop reporting, analysis, and performance metrics.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)GAAP knowledge, CPA preferredStrong written, verbal and collaboration skills
