The essential duties and responsibilities of the Spa Director are to lead the team in member acquisition, ensure exceptional guest service, grow the member base through membership sales and build team member culture.ResponsibilitiesRecruit, hire, train, develop and retain employeesAccountable for driving revenue and profitability through inventory management and consistency through servicesDirectly supervise and be accountable for all aspects of retreat operationsCreate and manage team member schedules for optimal retreat performanceAdhere and align the team and retreat to our brand values and standardsAchieve retreat goals regarding membership sales and retentionSupporting and training the brand's mission, core values, and standardsParticipate in all corporate initiatives including monthly calls, training, and other cultural programsMaintaining operational standards according to Massage Heights policies, procedures, and protocolsSet individual team member goals and retreat goals; create plans and convert plans into action to meet and exceed goalsPlan, prepare, and execute events to promote Massage Heights in your areaConduct the necessary marketing activities to drive leadsDevelop partnerships with local businesses in your areaQualificationsMinimum 2 years of membership-based service and/or retail management experienceExperience managing hourly wage employeesSelf-starter strong with leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skillsWorking knowledge of labor and employment lawsExperience in training, coaching, and conflict resolutionAble to build and sustain a positive employee cultureWorking knowledge of computers and standard softwareBasic business math skillsFinancial and P&L experiencePreferred QualificationsPractical knowledge of working with Zenoti or other Spa POS software systemsUnderstanding spa environment and massage and skincare servicesExperience working in a franchise modelCompany OverviewMassage Heights is a national franchise U.S. and Canadian chain of massage and skincare Retreats that are locally owned and operated by small business owners.
