We are humbled by the long-term relationships with our customers, earned through the packaging solutions we offer, including design, engineering, testing, manufacturing, and fulfillment of custom and stock packaging Your Role Facility and Equipment Maintenance Technician Shift and Hours : 1 st Shift – 7:00am to 3:30pm; TBD Work Schedule : Monday to Friday; TBDAs an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will support overall safety and preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment in support of the overall facility goals for safety, quality and manufacturing deadlines. While you will also repair equipment that has broken, you'll also recognize when repair projects require third party support to fix. Due to this, you're required to hold and maintain proficient knowledge of the specific production equipment assigned to the best of your abilitiesWhat You’ll Be Doing Equipment Maintenance Support the production process the proficient diagnosing, testing, and maintaining the production equipment for preventative and corrective maintenance of production equipment and/or fleet to the manufacturer’s and TransPak specifications Accurately record and maintain maintenance records per standard operating procedures Maintain the Air Industrial Compressor in good functions, in order to avoid delays in Production schedule Follow Manuals and drawings reading Disassemble/Reassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear Observe and test the operation of machinery to diagnose malfunctions to verify the adequacy of repairs Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery Analyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems Study manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation or operation of machinery Record parts or materials used and order new parts as necessary Demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators Address and report all equipment defects or maintenance needs to maintain safe and efficient use Follow all procedures, policies and know the equipment before using it Speak up when observing something that may be unsafe, or someone is performing unsafe acts Maintain proficiency by staying current on all training related to assigned equipment/machinery protocols and updates Work together with other team members to accomplish tasks safely in a fast-paced production environment Order Equipment Parts Some machines include Glue machines, bagger machine, saw machines, dust collector and industrial grinder Safety drive to vendors to buy equipment with proper PO (purchase order) authorization Required What We’d Like to See from You Minimum 5 years' experience in equipment maintenance role in manufacturing or construction or related field Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills Ability to work independently with little supervision Highly Desired Bilingual English/Spanish Associates Degree or higher Electrician Certification with 3 years' of experience Industrial and Commercial Electrician experience Industrial Project Management experience Interested but Concerned You’re Not Qualified?
