At PIM, you can make an immediate and lasting contribution to help grow iconic snack and confectionery brands, no matter your area of expertise.We are looking for a Associate Project Manager interested in a career with a top ranked and growing snack company, to join our Supply Chain business at PIM’s Headquarters in Park Ridge, New Jersey. This position will report to our Associate Director, Project Management.The Associate Project Manager will work alongside the Project Managers to plan and execute projects for the company. Their duties include identifying companies project needs and goals, creating a detailed plan to successfully complete a project and organizing and storing project reports and documents. The ideal candidate will have experience within a consumer-packaged goods (CPG) company environment and well versed at interacting with and influencing multifunctional teams of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving parts simultaneously while driving excellence in execution. The goal is to commercialize from ideation to successful market launch meeting timelines established.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting in the planning and implementation of projectsTo participate in the creation of new products and maintaining current portfolioHelping to coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverablesHeavy focus on analyzing and maintaining data To organize and maintain backend administrative elements of item setupsConducting administrative duties, organizing project meetings, ensuring all key stakeholders agree to what they need to do and are meeting deliverablesTracking and reporting project progressPerforming other duties assigned by the Project Manager in an orderly and efficient mannerWork with Marketing, Procurement, and Operations teams to help plan projects and related timelines in advance and to develop key project success criteriaConstructively collaborate and help trouble-shoot and resolve conflictsFoster teamwork and enthusiasm and celebrate successLiaise with multiple functions regularly, outside of weekly project meetings, to build relationships, collaboratively solve problems and drive to project completion. Functions include Marketing, Sales, Procurement, Graphic/Design, Packaging, R&D, Demand Planning, Finance, Logistics, Operations, Engineering and outside vendors as appropriateBuild positive internal customer relationships, works effectively with team members, peers and management both internally and externallyDisplay a positive behavior, professional manner, and a willingness to be a team player and assist others at all levelsQualificationsCollege degree, preferably specialized in Business, Business Administration of Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering. Advanced degree a plus.1-2 years of experience in project management or a related roleDemonstrated leadership and ethics; demonstrated ability to hold others accountable for deliveryDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting, including demonstrated ability in building and managing teams.Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills; able to establish good working relationships with employees at all levels, resolve conflict and provide feedback, and to devise and implement creative solutions to problems.Strong communication skills, both oral and written; demonstrated ability to speak up appropriately and to raise issues to teams and senior managementCapacity to manage high stress situationsAbility to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneouslyBig-picture thinking and visionDemonstrates Advanced software skills in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project or similar programs.Track record of delivering resultsOrganization, attention to detail and follow throughAbility to Prioritize critical tasks across multiple departments. Work remotely once per month on a Friday.Summer Fridays between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekendWe are proud to offer:The pay range for this position is $60,000.00 to $65,000.00.
