Imagination Station Caf Associate Part TimeThis position reports to the Cafe Manager and is responsible for greeting and serving visitors and for providing quality food service through experienced food preparation and a comfortable and clean environment. Greet all visitors with a welcoming demeanor and assist them with their selection.Responsibilities:Operate the grill, deep fryer and deli counterOperate a cash register and balance a cash drawer after each shiftBe sure that all areas are stocked and presentable at all timesMaintain all serving areas to provide a clean environment and food safetyEffectively learn and implement outlined Fire & Emergency proceduresEngage in ongoing training and professional development experiencesPrioritize and coordinate busy times with lunch and task schedulesRespond quickly and professionally to visitors requestsRequirements:High School Diploma or GED.Must have food service experienceMust have cash handling experienceMust have the ability to balance a cash drawerKnowledge of Health Department StandardsOutstanding customer service skillsAbility to quickly and efficiently adapt to changeGood communication skillsThe ability to multi-task as neededPhysical Demands: This position requires routine walking, standing, bending and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
