Materials Handler

We are a busy and growing local roofing company seeking a motivated and organized Material Handler to join our team. This is a fast-paced and lively work environment complete with training and advancement opportunities. Job Responsibilities: Ensures orderly distribution of products and materials by pulling orders from inventory, picking up materials from supply houses, and staging and delivering materials and supplies where needed. Maintains and organizes stock inventory and materials storage by identifying, labeling, and recording supplies. Documents materials and quantities delivered to and returned from job sites. Mainains material-handling equipment by completing pre- and post- use inpsections. Operates forklift to move items, and directs deliveries off trucks and into storage or staging areas. Delivers and retrieves dump trailer to and from job sites and waste facilities. Keeps inventory, loading and storage areas, and equipment clean and organized. Job Skills and Qualifications: Organizational skills Critical thinking and problem solving skills Adept at handling multiple tasks simultaneously Proficient with prioritizing and meeting deadlines Excellent time management Ability to lift heavy materials Requirements: Must have a clean driving record and current driver's license Forklift certified Must be able to drive big trucks and haul trailers Job Type: Full-time Pay: $11.50 - $20.68 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: Corrales, NM 87048: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Work Location: In person
