Transfer over to a Department that is forward thinking and opportunities for advancement are available.Responsibilities include:Assist and advise youth on redirecting behavior into positive, pro-social channels.Serve as a sworn Peace Officer overseeing the care, safety, and control of probation youth in residential treatment facilities or juvenile halls.Conduct life-skills assessments for probation youth.Provide casework services to support rehabilitation efforts.Ensure dorm and facility security.Restrain combative youth, when necessary.Assist in re-socialization efforts for probation youth.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a Deputy Probation Officer with at least one year of experience, who sees themselves as a trailblazer with an unwavering passion for transforming lives and uplifting youth.
