Corporate ControllerLocation: Near Mayfield, NYSalary Range: $100,000 - $120,000Employment Type: Full-TimePosition OverviewOur growing client is seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to lead its accounting operations and support executive financial leadership. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and overseeing day-to-day accounting activities.The Corporate Controller will also provide leadership to the accounting team while helping strengthen financial processes, reporting, and internal controls across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & Accounting OperationsOversee the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including general ledger reporting and balance sheet managementReview financial data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to established accounting standardsSupport the preparation of financial reports and assist with organizational budgeting processesInternal Controls & ComplianceDevelop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal control systemsEnsure compliance with financial regulations and company policiesSupport internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to requestsTeam Leadership & Staff DevelopmentSupervise and manage daily workflow of accounting staffProvide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team membersParticipate in recruiting, onboarding, and development of new accounting personnelOperational & Payroll OversightOversee payroll processes and ensure accurate processingMonitor financial systems and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracyJob RequirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration requiredMaster's degree preferredMinimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experienceStrong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controlsProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with ERP systems such as Sage 100 or NetSuite is a plusStrong leadership, analytical, and organizational skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesTo see a full listing of all our open positions, please visit:https://www.redshiftrecruiting.com/jobs-hiring-near-me
