This position ensures reliable and efficient data flow, implements data governance and security, and contributes to cloud-based data solutions that support business goals. The role is impactful in advancing the organization's data infrastructure and enabling data-driven decision-making.Responsibilities:Design and build scalable data ingestion and curation pipelines from diverse sourcesEnsure data quality, standardization, and optimization for analyticsUtilize Python, SQL, and DBT/Dataform for pipeline developmentManage end-to-end data integration and flowDevelop and maintain GCP data platforms including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud FunctionsImplement data governance, access controls, and security measuresUse Astronomer and Terraform for data workflow orchestration and cloud infrastructureMonitor and optimize pipeline performance and resource useCollaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to establish best practicesAutomate data platform processes to improve reliability and efficiencyCommunicate technical decisions effectively to various stakeholdersStay updated on industry trends and emerging technologiesTranslate business requirements into efficient data solutionsDocument data engineering processes to support knowledge sharingRequirements:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 4 years of relevant experienceAt least 2 years experience with:Engineering real-time streaming pipelines using Kafka, OpenShift, and DataflowJava and Spring Boot for connected vehicle data processingArchitecting databases with Spanner, PostgreSQL, and BigQueryManaging GCP cloud data projects using Apache Beam, Airflow, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud BuildDeveloping high-volume connected vehicle data streaming platforms with OpenShift and Spring BootPay Range and Compensation Package:Salary range from $128,003.00 to $174,548.04 per yearBenefits & Perks:Immediate medical, dental, and prescription drug coverageEqual Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
