Sr Full Stack Developer (.Net/React/AWS)

They're an established industry leader known for operational excellence, and are now investing heavily in technology, with business and senior leadership placing a huge emphasis on modernizing their application environment as part of a broader digital transformation.We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with a perfect blend of C#/.NET, React and AWS, to design, build, and support enterprise applications with a strong focus on cloud-native architecture and AWS-based solutions. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions that support critical business capabilities.This is a hands-on position spanning the full application stack — frontend, backend services, APIs, cloud infrastructure, integrations, and production support. The ideal candidate brings deep experience building modern applications on AWS, strong frontend and backend API development skills, and enough familiarity with emerging AWS AI services to contribute to practical AI-enabled solution design.This is a contract role that offers a remote work schedule!Position Summary:Work directly with stakeholders, architects, and product owners to translate business needs into technical requirements and delivery plans.Own features end-to-end, from initial design through build, testing, deployment, and post-release support.Build full stack applications using C# and .NET on the backend, paired with a modern JavaScript framework (React or Angular) on the frontend.Write and maintain frontend interfaces, backend services, and REST/JSON APIs, along with the integrations that connect them.Propose patterns and technology choices that hold up well over time and under load.Stand up and maintain AWS infrastructure spanning compute, storage, databases, and identity/access managementBuild and operate microservices and containerized workloads within a cloud-native environment.Keep CI/CD pipelines and release automation running smoothly, using infrastructure-as-code where it makes sense.Take part in code reviews and design discussions, holding the line on quality and consistency across the codebase.Diagnose and fix issues that surface anywhere in the stack — application, integration, performance, or infrastructure — across dev, test, and prod.Pitch in on observability, logging, security posture, and general operational health alongside other engineering and ops teams.Requirements: Overall 10+ years of full stack experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications.8+ years of hands-on development experience with C# and .NETExperience with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.Strong, hands-on experience building and supporting cloud-native solutions on AWS.Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM, Cognito, plus core VPC networking concepts.Strong experience designing and consuming REST/JSON APIs and related integration patterns.Experience with Relational and non-relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or similar).Basic, practical knowledge of AWS AI/ML services (Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, or similar)Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.Experience with source control, CI/CD, and DevOps practices (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, or similar).Strong understanding of secure coding, authentication/authorization, and application security principles.Python and FastAPI-based development is a plus!Experience modernizing legacy applications and migrating workloads to AWS.Deeper microservices, distributed systems, or event-driven architecture experience.Experience integrating AI-enabled features or proof-of-concept work into enterprise applications.Observability/monitoring tooling for cloud-hosted applications.On-call or incident-response experience in a production environment is a plus!MMD Services Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
