Senior Project Manager, Map Production - Autonomous Vehicles

An idea candidate should demonstrate strong project management experience with 2+ years in the mapping field, a solid understanding of SDLC and agile process, and extensive experience and willingness in working with remote team.What you'll be doing:* Understand each stage of end-to-end HD map production process* Monitor efficiency of end-to-end HD map production to ensure timely deliveries* Identify blockers and bottlenecks, and work with various teams to resolve the issues in a timely manner* Propose mapping quality/efficiency improvements, and ensure they are implemented according to priorities* Report HD map production status on a regular basisWhat we need to see:* Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience* GIS background a great plus* 5+ years of experience in project management work, with over two years dedicated to the mapping sector* Strong grasp of the software development life cycle and agile methodology* Extensive experience working with remote team* Strong desire to improve the status quo* A self-starter that requires minimal supervision* Great team player with excellent communication skillsWays to stand out from the crowd:* Relevant experience in HD mapping* Steadfast drive to improve upon the current situationYour base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
