Lead GCP Cloud Engineer FTE Only Austin TX (Fully Onsite )Leadership & Strategy Successfully execute the long-term GCP infrastructure and DevOps strategy aligned with business objectives Collaborate with business, engineering, product, and security leaders to drive platform adoption Cloud Infrastructure (GCP) Establish a culture of automation, reliability, and continuous improvement Mentor and build high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation, Agile, and DevOps.Cloud Infrastructure (GCP) Oversee scalable, secure, and highly available systems on GCP Management of Google Resources (Compute Engine, GKE, VPC, Cloud Storage, VertexAI, BigQuery, GCS etc. ) Implement and enforce Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform Drive multi-region and disaster recovery strategiesSecurity & Compliance Partner with security, governance, and networking teams for infrastructure setup & maintenanceCost Optimization (FinOps) Drive cloud cost governance and optimization strategies Implement monitoring, budgeting, and rightsizing practices Improve cost visibility and accountability across teamsPreferred Skills: • Technical leadership and strategic thinking • Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management • Automation-first mindset • Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services • Strong experience with Terraform • Familiarity with data/analytics platforms (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow etc.) • Experience in faster, more efficient software delivery through mature DevOps practices • GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect)
