The platform supports real-time planning and optimisation processes using advanced technologies and modern architecture patterns.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop scalable backend services using Scala and functional programming paradigmsDesign and implement event-driven architectures using streaming frameworks (e.g. Kafka)Deploy and manage services within Kubernetes environments on AWSCollaborate on system design, development, and optimisationWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeParticipate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activitiesWork closely with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery qualityRequired ExperienceStrong experience with Scala and functional programming (e.g. ZIO, Cats Effect, Akka Streams)Experience building event-driven systems using Kafka or similar frameworksExperience deploying services in Kubernetes environments (AWS)Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Git, GitLab, Chef, Puppet)Experience with Protobuf or similar frameworksStrong background in backend development and scalable systemsFluent English communication skills (C1 or above)Nice to HaveExperience working on real-time planning or optimisation systemsExposure to high-availability, mission-critical environmentsInterested?
