The venue hosts a variety of events, from sports tournaments to corporate events, making it a dynamic and versatile community hub dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences. Future developments include additional facilities like a second ice rink and expanded recreational amenities. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Line Cook at the AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk in Overland Park, KS. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to recipes, ensuring food quality and presentation standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Additional tasks include managing food inventory, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and assisting with kitchen prep work as needed. Qualifications Ability to prepare and cook food according to recipes, maintain portion control, and ensure consistencyKnowledge of safety and sanitation standards for food preparation and storageExperience in efficiently managing kitchen equipment and toolsStrong collaboration and communication skills to work in a team settingAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as neededPrevious experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role is preferredCulinary training or certification is a plus
