Cardiographics Technician - Rex Heart & Vascular

Instructs, prepares, and pre-assesses patients for electrocardiogram (EKG) tests, stress testing and/or cardiovascular monitoring devices.2. Operates EKG machines and attach electrodes to patients' bodies to obtain accurate heart readings.3. Monitors EKG equipment during tests to ensure optimal functionality and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.4. Observes scanner screen to identify irregularities in patient cardiac patterns and verifies data to printout for interpretation by the physician.5. Set up and assist physician in administering exercise treadmill stress testing.6.Records and edits test results, providing preliminary reports to responsible licensed caregivers (Regis-tered Nurse, Physician).7.
