Must be local to Houston. This role is onsite.Job Responsibilities:•Develop and revise standards, specifications and design criteria to be used by CNP utilizing MicroStation CAD software.•Ensure design adherence to applicable internal standards and procedures, and ensure compliance with external code requirements (NESC, ANSI, ASTM, IEEE, ERCOT, NERC, etc.).• Design and develop systems, components, or processes based on project specifications and requirements.• Conduct testing, analysis, and evaluations to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project planning and execution.• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and drawings to communicate engineering concepts.• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, proposing effective solutions.Skills :• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.• Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to the discipline.• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and data.• Effective communication and teamwork skills.• Knowledge of industry standards and engineering best practices.• Strong organizational and time management abilities.Education/Experience:• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology required.• CAD software experience• Extensive design experience• Experience with MicroStation• Strong drafting skills and drafting software experience
