Interventional Cardiology Northeast Alabama (Appalachian Foothills) A growing cardiology group in northeast Alabama is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join a well-established, hospital-employed team. This position offers excellent support, strong compensation, and the opportunity to practice in a scenic, family-friendly community. Position Highlights: Employed by a 338-bed regional hospital with a dedicated Heart Center, 2 Cath Labs, CCU, and SICU Join 5 interventional cardiologists adding a 6th due to growth Non-structural role (non-surgical backup available for structural cases) Full-time position with 1:6 call schedule EMR: Paragon (Allscripts-based system) used hospital-wide Eligible for Conrad 30 and ARC programs (no cap) J1 and H1B visa candidates for 2025 & 2026 encouraged to apply Compensation & Benefits: Base salary: $550,000+ (DOE) Sign-on bonus: $50,000 (paid 50% at signing, 50% at start; full at start for visa physicians) 20 PTO days/year + 5 CME days with $4,000 allowance Paid malpractice Relocation: $5,000 $10,000 Full benefits: health, dental, vision, retirement (401k) Location Highlights: Nestled in the Appalachian foothills with outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, biking, and golfing Historic charm with local museums and cultural attractions 1 hour to Birmingham and international airport access Four-season climate with mild winters and affordable living Excellent public and private schools, low crime, and family-friendly community
