PurposeWe are seeking a dynamic and driven Office Manager to lead and optimize the functionality of our general office and administrative teams. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization, adhering to our policies, and complying with applicable laws.Key ResponsibilitiesYour expertise and achievements will be showcased through the following tasks:Leadership & Team Management: Plan, assign, and direct work while fostering a motivating environment to achieve team goals. Performance Management: Appraise performance, reward, and discipline employees, ensuring high standards are maintained. Problem Resolution: Address complaints and resolve issues effectively, maintaining a positive work environment. Operational Activities: Oversee and participate in the activities of supervised workers, ensuring departmental accuracy and completeness. Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to meet deadlines and ensure seamless operations. Customer Interaction: Provide customer representatives with necessary data, including order status and inventory details, and facilitate process improvements. Technological Advancements: Explore and implement innovative resource technologies. Staff Development: Coach, mentor, and discipline office staff, providing training to all direct associates. Training Oversight: Assist with scheduling, conducting, and monitoring facility-wide training related to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Inventory Management: Ensure effective use of WMS to maintain accurate inventory records. HR Functions: Handle interviewing, hiring, onboarding, evaluation, and termination processes. Policy Enforcement: Manage and enforce all company policies. Process Improvement: Audit and create processes to meet departmental goals and ISO standards. Annual Reviews: Conduct annual performance reviews. Cross-Training: Ensure employees are cross-trained for maximum account and customer coverage. Data Presentation: Prepare and present statistical information using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the General Manager. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesAs an inspiring leader, you will select top candidates for each position, provide structure, direction, feedback, recognition, and accountability. Required: High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role and industry. Systems Experience:Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel required; Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint preferred).
