We operate four health centers and offer telehealth statewide as part of a network of 600 Planned Parenthood affiliates nationwide.What You’ll Do: As a Lead Advanced Practice Clinician, you’ll join a dedicated and skilled team at one of our Health Centers where you will provide high-quality sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services, including sexual and reproductive health care, contraception, STI care, gender-affirming hormone therapy, abortion care, and more.You will provide valuable oversight in clinic operations, provide APC mentorship, and deliver life-changing healthcare services in a highly supportive environment at the state’s leading provider of sexual and reproductive health care.You will also be responsible for providing mentorship, coaching, and supervision for a team of highly dedicated APCs at our Metrowest Massachusetts location as well as our Float APCs.Lead APCs at PPLM are critical team members who help shape our clinical environments and foster a strong sense of teamwork and excellence, while adhering to PPLM, state, and federal protocols including OSHA, CLIA, and MA Department of Public Health regulationsIf you have ever wanted to be at the frontline of providing sexual and reproductive health care, now is a great time to join our team! PPLM has been around for nearly 100 years, and we’re thrilled to continue developing the next generation of clinicians to lead this work well into the future.Your Day to Day:Clinical Responsibilities:Deliver direct patient care in family planning and abortion services in Metrowest MassachusettsFacilitate patient flow and ensure adherence to standard workflows for clinical efficiencyServe as clinical resource for Advanced Practice Clinicians and Patient Care AssistantsEnsure compliance with PPLM's Follow-Up Manual for abnormal results and referralsAdministrative Responsibilities:Collaborate with Health Center Managers to adjust staffing as neededProvide clinical performance observations and feedback to Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) based in Metrowest Massachusetts as well as Float APCsProvide mentorship, coaching, and professional guidance to Advanced Practice CliniciansParticipate in hiring, onboarding, and training of Advanced Practice Clinician staffReview quarterly audits and incident reports; develop corrective action plans as neededAttend all clinician and site management meetingsAnalyze clinical and operational reports to improve service deliveryMaintain current knowledge and adherence of PPFA and PPLM protocols and support any updatesProvide clinical coverage outside of regular hours as neededOther tasks and responsibilities as neededQualifications:Master's or Doctorate degree and current Massachusetts licensure as NP, CNM, or PA; CPR certified3 years of management experience preferredProficiency in Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Brazilian Portuguese is highly preferredA strong commitment to providing the full range of sexual and reproductive health care is essential; prior experience is welcomed but not requiredStrong interpersonal skills; commitment to health equity and an ability to work with diverse populationsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to stay active throughout shiftsWhy Join Us?We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, including: Generous Paid Time Off Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 403(b) Retirement Plan with employer match Life and Disability Insurance Professional Development Opportunities Commuter Benefits A mission-driven workplace that values equity, inclusion, and belongingPPLM is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and an equal opportunity employer that values a diverse workforce and a culture of inclusivity and belonging.
