Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster - Remote

Job Description :Our client is looking to expand their Workers' Compensation Department and is seeking to add a Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to their operations. These positions would be responsible for handling Workers' Compensation Indemnity claims from inception to close. Qualified candidates must possess a strong knowledge of Workers' Compensation laws and statutes. This is a fully remote position and considered Temporary through the end of the year, with the potential of extending into the New Year.Handle moderate to complex Workers' Compensation claims, including litigation, with minimal supervision and guidance from the manager.Negotiate settlements with injured workers and attorneys.Consistently exhibit a high level of customer service and adherence to department best practices.Requirements:3+ years of experience handling Lost-time Workers' Compensation claims.Need to be well-versed in Workers' Compensation Law.License in Home State or Designated Home StateExperience in one of the following Jurisdictions: AL, AR, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NE, OK, SC, SD, TN, WIExcellent customer service and organizational skills.High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.Salary/Benefits:$30.00 - $32.00+ per hour (based on experience)Opportunity to work remotelyDisclaimer: Please note that this job description may not cover all duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the role, and it is subject to modification at the employer's discretion.
