Responsible for operating the cash register and maintaining the serving line. Works under general supervision according to some procedures; decides how and when to complete tasks.What You Will DoReceives payment by cash, vouchers, or automatic debits. Issues receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.Assists with preparation and packaging of food items; ensures food temperature and portion sizes are appropriate.Stocks and rotates food items displayed for sale on the serving line.Maintains clean and orderly checkout areas and complete other general cleaning duties, such as cleaning serving area and storing unused food items. Stocks shelves and marks prices.Answers customers' questions, and provides information on procedures or policies.Assists customers by providing information and resolving their complaints. Processes returns and exchanges.Identifies prices of goods and tabulates bills using cash registers or optical price scanners.Balances sales to monies received.
