Cloud Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role• Engineer and implement cloud-based technical architectures, migration strategies, and deployment solutions using automation technologies.• Develop and maintain scalable cloud solutions that support business objectives.• Monitor cloud resource usage and performance to optimize cloud spend and efficiency.• Design and develop automation scripts for cloud applications and services.• Research and evaluate new cloud technologies and services to provide recommendations for adoption.• Provide support for incident, problem, and change management activities related to cloud operations.What You'll Need• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.• 3+ years of experience with modern programming or scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Bash, or PowerShell.• Experience supporting at least one major cloud platform (GCP, Azure, or AWS).• Strong scripting and automation experience.• Understanding of infrastructure concepts including operating systems, virtualization, and networking.• Experience developing fault-tolerant, efficient, and maintainable code is preferred.What's On Offer• Competitive hourly compensation of $40 - $45 per hour.• Access to medical, dental, and vision insurance.• 401k retirement account access.• Potential for paid sick leave and/or other paid time off.Apply via Haystack today!
